Reports

person person Compliance Officers and Auditors have access to view reports for all associated organisations, active and disabled.

person person person Advanced Users, Standard Users and Billing Officers have access to view reports for all associated organisations which are active.

person Data Entry Operators do not have access to Reports.

Reports

The Report section contains the following reports:

NameDescription
Activity ReportA report of scanning activity over a specified period (does not include current day) for a specific organisation or a group of organisations.

The report includes activities for both PEP & Sanctions and as ID Verification.

Member Due Diligence ReportA report of due diligence decisions and comments recorded against member scan matches.

This applies to PEP & Sanctions scans only.

Corporate Due Diligence ReportA report of due diligence decisions and comments recorded against company scan matches.

This applies to PEP & Sanctions scans only.

Activity Report

A high level summary of the scanning activity performed by a selected Organisation over a specified period. This information is displayed on the screen below the search criteria. It can be exported as an Excel, PDF or Word file for archiving or printing. A group activity report can also be run to summarise activity by Organisation for a group of selected Organisations.

Activity Date is based on Australian Eastern Standard/Daylight-Saving Time and not the Organisation's default time zone.

If you are assigned to multiple organisations, you can choose to run the report for a single Organisation or a group of selected Organisations.

Select Activity Report from the Report section of the Main Menu.

Select the Single Report or Group Report radio button.

If you choose to run a Group Report, select the Organisations that you want to group the report for by clicking the adjacent checkboxes. You can click and toggle the Select All and Deselect All link to include all Organisations in the report. Each level of the Organisation hierarchy can be expanded and collapsed by clicking the adjacent node button.

The Activity Date for the report defaults to the year-to-date. Click the (calendar icon) on the right hand side of the date field to display dates and calendars from which you can select an alternative date or date range. This automatically enters the selected date/s into the field ensuring the correct date format.

Note

The Activity report does not contain data for the current day's activity.

Click the Search button to display the Single or Group Activity Report or Report to generate a downloadable report.

Single Activity Report

The Single Activity Report shows:

Member Scans

  • Scan Date
  • Scan Type - Single or Batch
  • Match Type - Exact or Close
  • Number of Members Scanned
  • Number of Members Matched
  • Number of Matches
  • Totals for the specified organisation and period.

Corporate Scans

  • Organisation
  • Number of Corporates Scanned
  • Number of Companies Matched
  • Number of Matches
  • Totals for the specified organisation and period.

ID Verification Scans

Additional Service

If you have subscribed to ID Verification and your organisation is enabled for IDV, you will see the additional ID Verification Scan details below.

  • Scan Date
  • Scan Type - Single only.
  • Number of Members Scanned
  • Number of Scans
  • Number of Verified Matches
  • Totals for the specified organisation and period.
  • Total number of scans by Data Source Name

To display a print-ready version of the report, click the Report button and export it as an Excel, PDF or Word file.

Group Activity Report Results

The Group Activity Report shows all the selected organisations in alphabetical order:

Member Scans

  • Organisation
  • Number of Members Scanned
  • Number of Members Matched
  • Number of Matches
  • Totals for the specified organisations and period.

Corporate Scans

  • Organisation
  • Number of Corporates Scanned
  • Number of Corporates Matched
  • Number of Matches
  • Totals for the specified organisations and period.

Click the Back button to return to the Activity Report.


Member Due Diligence Report

Provides an organisation specific listing of due diligence decisions recorded for scanned members for which matches were found. It lists member details, due diligence decisions with comments and assessed risk, together with the date and the username of the user that recorded the decision/comment.

This report would typically be run to keep a record of due diligence decisions prior to removing scan data from MemberCheck. It can be exported as an Excel, PDF or Word file for archiving or printing.

Note

As the primary purpose of this report is to report on due diligence decisions, where a company has one or more matched entities but no due diligence decision or comments have been recorded, the member will not be listed. Likewise, matched entities, for which no due diligence decision or comments have been recorded are not listed against the member.

Select Member Due Diligence Report from the Report section of the Main Menu.

If you are assigned to multiple organisations, select the Organisation for which you want to create the report.

You can refine and narrow down the results of the Due Diligence Report by filtering using the following fields:

Decisions / Comment DateEnter a specific date or date range.

Click the (calendar icon) on the right hand side of the date field to display dates and calendars from which you can select the appropriate date or date range. This automatically enters the selected date/s into the field ensuring the correct date format.

Report to includeSelect the appropriate radio button to include Latest Decision / Latest Comment or Latest Decision / All Comments.

Click the View Report button to display the Due Diligence Report or click the Download Report button to download it as a CSV file.

Large number of records

When selecting to view the Due Diligence Report, if it contains a large number of records, an Info dialog is displayed to inform you how many records the report may generate and to ask you if you want to continue.

If the report contains more records than can be displayed on the screen, an Info dialog is displayed to give you the choice of downloading it as a CSV file or cancelling.

The Member Due Diligence Report shows for each matched member:

Found Entity DataFor each match found:
  • Category - displays the categories the matched record belongs to, which can be any or any combination of the following:
    • TER: People on Special Interest Persons - Terror Watchlist.
    • PEP: Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Relatives or Close Associates of PEPs.
    • SIP: People on Sanctions and Other Official Lists, and People of Special Interest associated with Terror (TER), Organised Crime, Financial Crime, Trafficking, Corruption, Tax Crime.
  • First+Middle Name
  • Last Name
Due Diligence
  • Decision (Risk) - the last decision entered for this match followed by Risk, if an assessed risk has been allocated and for each decision or comment:
    • User - username of the user that entered the decision or the comment
    • Date - date of the decision or the comment
    • Comment - comment entered

Note: To make the report more easily readable, where one found entity has multiple comments, the found entity details (Category, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name) and Decision are displayed once only and not repeated.

  • Decision (Risk) - the last decision entered for this match followed by Risk, if an assessed risk has been allocated and for each decision or comment:
    • User - username of the user that entered the decision or the comment
    • Date - date of the decision or the comment
    • Comment - comment entered

Report header bar

The Report header bar provides the following functionality:

First, Previous, Next and Last buttons to navigate through a multi-page report.
Find (search for text within the report) and Next (find the next instance of the search term.)
Export drop down list for selecting a format in which to export the report - Excel, PDF or Word.
Refresh button - to update the report in real time.
