Generating Reports

MemberCheck’s reporting capabilities have the following features to accommodate the production of large reports:

Large Report Warning

A warning message dialog is displayed when reports over a certain size are generated to inform users of the number of records that may be generated and ask them to confirm that they wish to continue with the report.

Batch Scan Exception Report

The Exception Report has a Download as CSV option, which includes the same data (including due diligence decision columns) as the View Exception Report. A progress counter has also been added to the download process, which indicates when the report is generated and ready for download.

Due Diligence Report

The Due Diligence Report is the report most likely to contain large volumes of information.

When it contains approximately 100,000 records or more, MemberCheck will direct the user to a CSV report download function rather than allow the report to be displayed online.

There is also an option to Download Report (as a CSV file) to enable access to reports too large to be viewed online or exported to Microsoft Excel.

Downloading CSV files

When downloading a CSV file, always select to Save, rather than Open.

If a downloaded CSV file is very large, please consider that before using Microsoft Excel for viewing it. The maximum number of rows the file can contain is 1,048,576 in older versions of Excel.

Files over these sizes can be opened with alternative applications such as Microsoft Access or Microsoft Notepad.
